In Pornic

The Kaidoz 31, moored at Port de la Noëveillard, can accommodate groups of about ten people for sea outings certified “Vogue & Vague”. During this trip through the salty sea breezes organized by a state-qualified instructor, you can take the helm of the beautiful 10-metre sailing boat, hoist the sails and engage in manoeuvres in the Bay of Bourgneuf. Not for freshwater sailors, however!

Andréa and Florence know Pornic by heart. Just follow their lead from the quays crowded with holidaymakers to the steep streets of the upper town, and discover Pornic from all angles. They’ll retrace the footsteps of painters Renoir and Caillebotte, and tell you about Albert Camus, who came to finish writing The Plague here on the Jade Coast. By the end of the tour, the medieval town, Gourmalon seaside district and the coastal fisheries will hold no secrets for you!

The Corsaires de Retz is moored at Commandant l’Herminier Quay right in the middle of the port, to attract the attention of budding buccaneers. This two-masted sailing ship is an 18-metre Formosa topsail ketch. Any young deckhands wanting to raise the yardarm and shake the mainsail ? Captain Bruno is waiting for you on board, with a firm hand, morbleu! Each time it goes out, the Corsaires de Retz sets sail for a trip along the coast in the Bay of Bourgneuf. It can take up to 20 sailors on board at a time. Heave-ho !
