Florent’s tips
Protect yourself from the sun with a hat, sunglasses and sun cream – the reflection of light off the water is intense. Don’t forget your water bottle. And for trips at sunset, I recommend long sleeves. It’s always cooler at sea than on the beach.
You must wear shoes. You may feel this is a nuisance, but it’s absolutely necessary to protect your feet from the rocks and oysters! I also advise you to bring a complete change of clothes, and to put on shorts and your swimsuit before coming so we can get out on the water fast.
When you arrive, I’ll ask you to write your e-mail address on a registration form, so I can send you photos of the trip. Your address won’t be saved or used for commercial purposes. Please use your best handwriting so I can read it clearly!
The trip may be cancelled in the event of adverse weather conditions. I’m the one who makes the decision. If possible, I’ll offer you an alternative solution, and if this isn’t an option you will be fully reimbursed.

Group rates
I offer customized tours for your corporate away-days, groups of friends, youth centres, summer camps, stag and hen parties and birthdays, at a group rate! These include more athletic excursions, day trips with a picnic, and other made-to-measure adventures. Contact me directly with details and I’ll send you a quote. For groups of 14 or more we can arrange two half-group rotations, so that everyone can fully enjoy the trip.

The meeting point is indicated on your Destination Pornic booking form and you will find a map at the end of the PDF document. Take a few minutes to study your itinerary the day before the tour.

Kayak Nomade has adjusted to Covid 19
- Kayaks, paddles and lifevests are disinfected after each trip.
- Hand sanitizer is distributed before handling the equipment.
- Members of the same group (family or friends) are asked to embark together in the double kayaks. Two single-seater kayaks are available for individual customers.
- Equip yourself before you come and don’t forget to bring your pen!
